About Us:

Earlton Hill Campground & RV Park is located at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. It has been around for many years but came under new ownership in April of 2010. Mark Andersen, born and raised in Coxsackie and a resident in Earlton for over 25 years, takes pride in being the owner here at Earlton Hill Campground and is assisted by his daughter, Kaitlin Andersen who is the Vice President and recently Co-Owner (2023) of both the Earlton Hill Campground and the Earlton Hill Country Store. We are also very proud of our team of staff members and volunteer campers who go above and beyond to help make Earlton Hill as amazing as it is.

There have been many renovations and upgrades made to the Campground to provide our campers and guests with what they deserve to feel at home. There are 276 Sites including Full Hookups, Drive-thru, Tent sites and Cabin Rentals, each provided with a picnic table and fire ring. We have a dump station on site. We have a large newly renovated Pavilion and Snack Shack. Big enough to hold many planned activities and events as well as Live Music Concerts, Weddings, Reunions, etc.

Our camp store is stocked with all your needs as well as a full food menu, Fresh Pizza & Boars Head Deli. We have two playgrounds (one being brand new Spring 2024), an arcade room, a sandy beach with a swimming area and a stocked lake for fishing. We have clean restrooms, free showers, and a coin-operated laundry room. Propane and Firewood are also available on site. We open the first Friday around May 1st and run through Columbus Day in October.

All reservations require a one-night non-refundable deposit to reserve.
We reserve the right to charge additional $20/night on any live music nights or ticket events.

Rules & Regulations

  • SPEED LIMIT- 5 MPH must be maintained by all vehicles, bicycles & golf carts at ALL times.
  • QUIET TIME- Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm, Friday & Saturday Midnight. NO Amplified Music All Children under the age of 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times! All Children under the age of 18 MUST be with a supervised adult after 10PM. NO bike riding after dark. Bullying, rough playing, or disrespectful behavior will NOT be tolerated!!
  • CHECK IN- Not before noon unless other arrangements have been made with management.
  • CHECK OUT- 11:00am unless other arrangements have been made with management.
  • VISITORS- MUST stop and register at office. Daily visiting hours end at 11PM. No Visitor entry after 9PM. Overnight guests must leave by 11AM next day. Monday-Thursday it’s $5/day $10/night Friday-Sunday it’s $10/day $15/night. DO NOT give anyone your gate code.
  • FIRES- Must be contained in a fire ring/pit, never exceed 3x3 and never left unattended.
  • TREES- No cutting or defacing of any standing trees. Do not place nails, screws, etc. in any standing trees. Chainsaws not permitted.
  • GARBAGE- Garbage pick-up is at 6pm daily. Seasonals MUST provide garbage can with a lid or you may throw garbage in the dumpster located behind the store. All garbage must be bagged, only ONE bag per day, NO loose Garbage bags are allowed on the ground.
  • PETS- All pets must be leashed at all times & have up to date rabies vaccinations on file. Do not leave pets (DOGS) unattended; they should NOT cause a disturbance that endangers or bothers other campers. Clean up is common sense, pick up after your pet!
  • SWIMMING/BEACH- Swimming contract MUST be signed before use. Beach opens at 11:00am and closes at 8:00pm. Two adults must be present when swimming facility is in use. Children under 16yrs MUST be accompanied by an adult to swim. NO smoking on beach, NO pets on beach. NO glass bottles on beach. Carry in, carry out. NO swimming outside roped area.
  • FISHING- Catch and release ONLY. No permit required. No fishing inside roped area.
  • BOATING- NYS Law requires all children 12 years and under MUST wear a life jacket. All Children must be accompanied by an adult. ALL boats are personal property, do NOT use without permission from owner.
  • ARCADE ROOM- Hours are 8am - 9pm daily. All games played at your own risk, NO refunds.
  • HELMETS/BIKES- NYS Law requires all children 14yrs and younger to wear a helmet! Bike riders MUST follow 5MPH speed limit. No riding through sites. No Bikes allowed on sidewalks, inside Pavilion or blocking doorways. ALL bikes MUST be parked by dusk! ATVs, UTVs, Dirt bikes, motorized kids bikes etc. NOT allowed in camp.
  • ELECTRIC HEATERS- WASHERS & DRYERS ARE NOT PERMITTED! Only ONE small refrigerator allowed per site. ALL outside fridges that contain alcohol should have a lock on it! NO cutting through campsites by foot, golf carts, bikes etc. Respect your neighbors. All seasonal campers MUST maintain their own sites and should NOT be reminded to keep it in a presentable manner (grass mowed, no garbage/debris, cans/bottles picked up, decluttered).
  • REST ROOMS- No bathing, dish washing, washing hair in the sinks. Do not leave personal belongings in bathrooms and/or showers. Make sure all water is turned off and not running before exiting. Report any messes/damage to office ASAP
  • LAUNDRY ROOM– Open 24hrs, do not overload machines, use at your own risk, we are not responsible for any personal belongings. Please report any messes/damage to office ASAP Washing RVs, Cars, Trucks or any excessive water usage is NOT permitted unless arrangements are made with management in advance. NO Kiddie-pools allowed of any kind! Clothes lines are a safety hazard. MUST be removed when not in use. Only ONE outside storage shed is allowed per site. Should not exceed 8x10. Only ONE 100lb propane tank per site (maximum) Absolutely NO parties of 15 or more people allowed on sites without prior approval from management. GATE CODES must never be given out to guests, we have weekly codes for your guests to use, misuse of gate codes will result in it being removed permanently. SEWER SITES must first fill holding tank then release when full, DO NOT leave lever open. Use ONLY septic safe Toilet Paper. NO rags, diapers, feminine products, paper towels etc. allowed in tanks. Misuse of sewer tanks will result in it being LOCKED.
  • PAVILION– All rentals must be approved by management. Please dispose of Garbage/Recycling in correct bins. NO smoking inside pavilion  at all! NO standing/dancing on tables. Please report any messes/damage to management ASAP.
  • SMOKING- Cigarette/Vaping/Marijuana use is prohibited on Playgrounds, beach or inside any buildings. Please be aware of your surroundings and respectful of other campers/children, NO cigarette butts on ground, dispose in ash tray!! 
  • GOLF CARTS- Proof of insurance must be shown upon arrival ($300,000 liability).  All carts must be electric and have working lights. Must follow 5MPH speed limit. Must hold a NYS driver’s license or be 18yrs of age or older to operate a golf cart. All carts should be parked by Midnight, Golf carts are a privilege here, violators will lose ALL rights, and the cart will be removed IMMEDIATELY!!!

To preserve the beauty of the park and provide an enjoyable family atmosphere for yourselves and your neighbors, these rules and regulations are based on common sense and decency. Any violators of these rules will result in immediate removal from the campground property with NO refunds!
